Lord of the Web

The net has been abuzz with news about Windows 7, Microsoft’s successor to the widely acknowledged failure of a OS- Vista.

Every time some Microsoft news comes about, especially Windows related ones, there rises a crop of people which does its utter best to ridicule, mock, berate….well you get the idea. Now I have always wondered why such people do so? Are they “victims” of Microsoft products who found out that Microsoft products are better off in trash? Are they those who have truly found better alternatives to MS products? Well some of them are, yes, but most of them have entirely different reasons for doing so!

They are those people who use Linux, Mac OS X or any other non-Microsoft OS and spend half of their productive times telling people that they dont use Windows and try to make a picture of someone who is better than others who have to use the oh so common Windows. In other words they are those who think using something not as common as Windows will make others think they are somehow better than the average lot. Its common human psychology ain it? We always try to get something that very few have and then try to degrade what others have?

Well, the next time you come across a Windows basher, you know whats in his/her mind!

PS: This is not about which OS - Windows or OS X or whatever- is better. Just clearing things!
PPS: Windows bashers usually say that Windows fans claim “Jesus died in Redmond”. Whoa! Have never come across a Windows fanatic!
