Halo wars demo sizzles
The demo for the much expected game based on the Halo universe- Halo Wars- has been released on the Xbox Live. Weighing in at 1.40GB, the demo has enought juice in it to explore what the game has to offer and will definitely leave you asking for more when you are done with it.
Halo 3 was a huge it ( its predecessors too, yeah). But can Halo Wars live up to the hype and the expectation built around it since it carries the “Halo” nametag with it? The answer is YES. The strategy game is so different from the Halo games we are used to, but captures the feel of the Halo universe. I have always been a sucker for strategy games, but am sure that even those who are wary of RTS games will also be pulled into Halo Wars.
The demo includes the first pair of campaign missions as well as a single skirmish map (the snowy Chasms). It has, as I have said, enough in it to get you immersed into Halo Wars. Thanks to Ensemble ( may you R.I.P) for coming out with a demo that is playable. It is a good strategy as well, since anyone who tries the demo will definitely want the full version. The game is so immersing, demo notwithstanding.
