A movie which was in the cans has finally released. After watching the movie though, you will come out the theatre thinking that the movie should have stayed in the cans never to see the light of the day.

The story is about how a skirt-chaser of a boss, played by Abbas, tries his charms with his women employees. Madhavan plays a gullible employee at Abbas’ company and Abbas uses Madhavan in his exploits by promising him a better future. Enter Mamta, who lands up in the same company and reacts posively to Abbas’ advances. But, Madhavan and Mamta fall in love and the gullible Madhavan is not so gullible anymore and start planning behing their boss’ back.

The characters are portrayed in a lacklustre manner and no one shines. Madhavan has done a decent job, but more was expected out of him. Vivek is the only positive in an otherwise bad movie. His antics in the movie are pretty good and make us miss the vintage Vivek who has been absent for long. The comedy, though good, cannot save a movie and Guru En Aalu is destined to bite the dust. Madahavan has just spoiled the momentum created by his Yaavarum Nalam.
