N900 in India?!
Nokia, the world mobile market has changed a lot in the last few years due to a device named the iPhone. You have been on the wrong end of this change, but lots of Indians have stood by you.
We waited with hope that the iPhone killer from Nokia is not far away. And knowing that Nokia considers (considered?) India to be one of if its major markets, which was evident through the quick release of phones like the 5800, we knew that this phone will reach us at the same time it did the other markets like the US and UK.
And now that you have the said iPhone killer in the form of the N900, we should be very happy and continue to be Nokia loyalists. Right?
Oh you have disappointed us Nokia. We know that none of your Internet tablets ( like the N800) were released in India. But we thought things had changed, that India is on the top of Nokia’s list.
With the N900 being in shipment for about 2 months now, in “selected” markerts, there is still no news on the N900 hitting Indian shores. Our wait has been in vain and there is no rejoice.
Great move Nokia! With the Android phones hitting the Indian markets, I might just have to consider a different Linux phone after all! You just lost me Nokia. And many others in India!

Yes Nokia, You have lost me too. I have gone for Samsung Omnia Pro already, after waiting for much enough time. Time and Tide wait for none.

This is terrible. I don’t know why global sellers are still spectical about Indian market. Indian economy is exploding. Customer in India changes gizmos/tech like the West change their burger. May be they can do this market defferenciation in case of valuable product - ferrari/bentley/Omega but gadgets and average devices - India is the best Market.
Nokia should realise that India is a faithful customer to it’s brand - the household name USERFRIENDLY NOKIA - but this goodwill will soon fade. Already per my personal survay people are looking for better substitute of Xperia X2/X10, HTC , LG Choco.
Ya infact these are good options.
Take care Nokia.
