Microsoft has struck a deal with DigitalGlobe, an imagery company, and participated in the launch of the latter’s WorldView-2 satellite. The deal will help Microsoft provide more imagery in its Virtual Earth program.
Google also has a deal with DigitalGlobe and its logo was present on a rocket launching the GeoEye-I satellite last year.

Microsoft is taking so many steps to stay in the hunt when it comes to the search engine market. Bing, the search engine, oops, decision engine, from Microsoft made some initial waves but hasn’t made any serious dent even in the search share of second place Yahoo, much less that of Google.
